On March 10, Fan Qingfeng, deputy to the Second Session of the Thirteenth National People's Congress and vice president of China Communications Enterprises Association, submitted proposals to the General Assembly. With the opportunities brought by the construction of a new type of intelligent city and 5G, the country will build multi-functional intelligent poles in an explosive manner, hoping to promote the standardization of the development of multi-functional intelligent pole industry as soon as possible.
Fan Qingfeng believes that the multi-functional smart pole, as the entrance to the construction of a new type of smart city and the carrier of 5G base stations in the future, is an information infrastructure integrating intelligent lighting, video surveillance, traffic management, environmental monitoring, wireless communication, emergency assistance and other functions. According to the current planning of the three major telecommunication operators in China, it is estimated that 5G technology will bring 117.6 billion yuan of market scale. At that time, the demand for multi-functional smart poles carrying base stations will show an explosive trend in the next two years.
Fan Qingfeng revealed that at present, multi-functional intelligent poles have been promoted in various cities throughout the country in the form of pilot projects. Taking Guangdong Province as an example, the "Three-year Action Plan for Information Infrastructure Construction in Guangdong Province (2018-2020)" issued in May last year was deployed. Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Dongguan have issued corresponding landing policies, and Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai have carried out pilot construction work.
It is reported that Shenzhen has been in the forefront of the country in the field of multi-functional smart poles and is the first city to introduce multi-functional smart pole top-level design in the whole country. The goal is to basically realize the full coverage of multi-functional smart poles on the main roads of the city by 2020, build a multi-functional smart pole management platform, and further improve the city's perception network system, municipal administration, public safety, and so on. The level of urban governance in transportation, environmental protection and other fields has been greatly improved. At present, Shenzhen has built multi-functional smart pole pilot projects along Qiaoxiang Road and Qianhai Qianwan Road, and the Guangming District International Marathon Track has been completed.
"At present, there are many problems in the popularization of multi-functional intelligent poles, such as different standards and difficult integration in the later stage. If we can't integrate a plan, build a chess game, manage a network and build a standard system, we will probably not get the market scale and the expected development effect. Fan Qingfeng suggested that a nationwide multi-functional intelligent pole standard system should be established as soon as possible to lead the development of new industries such as Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Vehicle Networking and 5G.
Fan Qingfeng pointed out that Shenzhen has analyzed the technical parameters of multi-functional smart pole, formulated the construction standard and issued the trial version of "Shenzhen multi-functional pole intelligent system technology and engineering construction standard" by considering the organic integration of lighting, mobile communication, public WLAN, video, broadcasting, one-button alarm and information release. Making market and national standards. With the help of 5G commercial Dongfeng and Huawei's regional advantages in Shenzhen, we hope to promote the establishment of the national standard of "General Technical Standards for Construction and Management of Urban Multi-functional Smart Poles", strengthen the leading position of Shenzhen's scientific and technological innovation, and strive for the development of multi-functional Smart Poles industry to "base itself on Shenzhen, face the whole country and go to the world".
