Sanan Group Lin Xiucheng: Several Chips For 5G Products Have Begun To Be Supplied

March 29 (Luo Hao) Lin Xiucheng, chairman of Fujian Sanan Group Co., Ltd. and actual controller of Sanan Photoelectric (600703) Co., Ltd., said in an interview with Xinhua Finance and Economics recently that products using III-V compound semiconductor materials will be widely used, and the company is confident that it will occupy most of the market share of such products. He disclosed that Sanan Optoelectronics chips used in 5G products have been supplied to domestic leading enterprises in small batches, and began to send samples to international customers.


Lin Xiucheng introduced that Sanan Group is currently focusing on high-end compound semiconductors and photobiotechnology.


It is understood that in 2018, San'an Optoelectronics invested 33.3 billion yuan in the high-tech industrial park of Nan'an, Quanzhou, Fujian Province, in the industries of semiconductor materials, LED epitaxy, chips, microwave integrated circuits, optical communications, radio frequency filters, power electronics, SIC materials and devices, special packaging, etc. After the completion of the project in 2022, Sanan Optoelectronics will realize the whole industrial chain layout in the high-end field of compound semiconductor.


Lin Xiucheng said that in the field of optical biotechnology, Zhongke San an is actively responding to the "one belt and one way" initiative, which aims to develop markets in Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Russia and other countries, while paying attention to the introduction and cultivation of foreign talents.


He believes that the development of cities will gradually move towards smart cities and interconnection of all things. The chips of III-V compound semiconductor materials will be widely used. The company is confident that it will stand out in the future market competition.


Talking about the future, Lin Xiucheng said that Sanan Optoelectronics should not only keep ahead in the LED chip industry, but also overtake in the field of III-V compound IC chips.
